UKG Lifestyle Limited, The-help and British Maids may be required to collect, process and store data which relates to our employees, customers, suppliers, etc, in order for the company to carry out its duties, rights and obligations. All information and data stored, is done so securely in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. The company may require to change it's data protection procedures from time to time to continue to comply with changing legislation.

 

The information will be used primarily for personnel, administrative and payroll purposes, however there may be other requirements for data collection in association with the company's business operations. The company will adopt appropriate organisational and technical measures to prevent the unauthorised use of unlawful processing or disclosure of data.

We will require to process customer information which includes their address, contact information (including key contacts, telephone numbers, emails), site specific information etc. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We collect personally identifiable information about our customers who may be current, prospective an former such as name, address, phone number and health records when they register for our services. The legal basis for processing personal data is to meet our contractual obligations to customers in relating to providing our services.

 

We may also collect identifiable and non-identifiable data through our website and social media.

 

We may send the individual service related emails – a service which you can positively opt out of.

 

How we use the information collected

Personal information will be used to operate, maintain and enhance our service to customers. A clear, concise consent form will be completed by the customers prior to the handling of personal data. We will use the customer’s personal information to carry our service operations and vital information updates. The customer’s personal data will not be sold onto 3rd party marketing companies. The customer has the right to opt out of any promotional communication from the service provider. However, we may disclose personal data to meet legal obligations, regulations or valid government department requests. We may also enforce our Terms and Conditions, including investigating potential violations of our Terms and Conditions to detect, prevent or mitigate fraud or security or technical issues; or to protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of our business, our customers and/or the wider community.

 

Access, Corrections, Deletion

We respect the privacy rights of our customer’s and will provide reasonable access, corrections or deletion to the personal data they have provided. The customer may contact the Data Protection Officer to request access and corrections to their data or deletion of their data.

 

Whilst the customer’s request will be acted upon instantly or within a reasonable period, please note the customer’s data may be retained based on our legal obligations or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.

 

Data Retention

We will use and retain our customer’s information for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements as follows:

 

• Financial information is retained for 7 full financial years in accordance to HMRC

• Customer’s personal data will be retained for a minimum period of 3 years after the last entry. After this period, data can be deleted securely and confidentially in accordance to the regulated bodies.

People accessing our website (ie Data Subjects) may visit our site anonymously. We will collect personal data from users only where it is voluntarily submitted and any such information provided to us is deemed part of taking part in the activity of the site.

 

Users contacting us via our website enquiry form do so at their own discretion.
